Dear Erakers:
Our stay was definitely too short for the overwhelmingly beautiful site. It
was a wonderful and comforting experience to rent a home, fully furnished,
because it was so much more personal. What a grand home. We could see how it has been added to and cared for over the years.
The mix of rain, cloud and sun was just fine and we appreciated an
abbreviated vacation during the quiet time of travel for most vacationers.
Your hospitality via email, telephone and Internet keeps busy people like us
able to see and visit beautiful places without too many months of
preparation. Thank you for an efficient but very personal sojourn.

Dear Sarah:
Rose and I just arrived back home last night. Now we're back in the "real
world" again and Falcon Cove will have to be a happy memory. Thanks for
calling early on to check that everything was OK. Although not necessary,
it just made us feel good.
I want you to know that we very much enjoyed our stay. All our expectations
were met; great views, privacy and very comfortable accommodations. The
weather cooperated and we had lots of fun day trips throughout the area,
alternating with lazy days reading and listening to the surf. Great view
from the bedroom. I usually spent a couple of hours a day playing guitar on
the upper level. Now if only I could get paid to do that. The BBQ and well
equipped kitchen got good use, although we still managed to share some
tourist dollars with the local restaurants. There are a few less crabs out
there after we got done. We appreciated that some of the basics were already in the kitchen, it made our shopping load easier and we left behind a few things that might be of use to others. The cleanliness and good condition of the house are obvious. You can mark us down as "satisfied customers" and we would be pleased to be a reference for anyone who isn't sure about Falcon Cove or the people who
own it.
Best regards,
Paul & Rose (Canada)
I also received this wonderful e-mail from a family in Missouri who stayed the last week of February 2002 .
We had a great time at your beach home. The amenities were excellent and the scenery was outrageous.
You were right about having the best of two worlds, being in between Manzanita and Cannon Beach. We did wander into the Safeway at Seaside one day and couldn't get over the radical change in traffic, people and noise. All of this within two days at your place. Boy talk about getting acclimated to the peace and quiet!!
The weather was superb, something you were responsible for??
And from Washington State-
We had a very nice time. I'm sure we'll be back. (By the way, we have spent lots of time in rental properties, and yours had everything we needed, which is not usually the norm.)
Sarah
Mary Jo and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our Cove Beach excursion.
The house was in spotless condition. The views were wonderful, the ocean active and we had one day with good weather and a nice walk on Hug Point.
I also used the well equipped kitchen to cook 1) Columbia River salmon and 2) Fresh
Halibut for our dinners.
thanks,
Bob and Mary Jo
We loved all of the windows and decks (watched the whales pass by on Thursday), the peace and quiet, and space. I liked having two TV's as my husband and I are early risers. We could watch the news and drink coffee in the upstairs room while our friends slept in on the other side of the house. We have rented a lot of houses through the years, and it seems like each one has had a major problem or two, but the only "problem" we had at your place were the leaks(from high winds and rain) and they didn't bother us any
